Why is this activity important?
Creating and viewing art stimulates children’s natural curiosity and creativity. Children are allowed and encouraged to express themselves, leaving them with a feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment. They are introduced to colors, shapes, textures and sensations. Furthermore, artistic activities stimulate finger-hand strength and hand coordination. Not to mention, it’s just plain fun!
