Maker Kids
Do you love to create, invent, hack, break and make things? Then this camp is for you! We’ll walk to Lady Bird Lake and get messy with Diet Coke and Mentos. Back at the Museum we’ll explore engineering, designing and crafting at it’s finest! All Maker Kids who want to showcase their camp creation at Maker Faire Austin will receive free admission for the entire family!

Let’s Get Cooking!
Cook up some fun with this ACM classic! We’ll walk to an exciting field trip where we get to taste some yummy treats. Then, back at the Museum, we’ll follow a recipe to concoct our own delicious dishes!

Blast Off!
We’re going on our own space mission and you’re invited! Join us as we travel to the edge of the universe without leaving the Museum. We’ll make a space snack, collect field samples, make a balloon rocket and more!

Young Scientists
Explore the ooey-gooey, knitty-gritty fun of science! Discover the science all around us, and more! We’ll make ice sculptures, play with polymer snow, and get a little messy with slime.
How to Register
Registration now open. Register at Museum Office window during operating hours or call (512) 472-2499 x201 to register with a credit card. VISA, MC, AMEX accepted. Cash and checks are accepted in person. Become a Member at the time of registration and receive the Member price. Registration closes the Thursday before camp begins.
After payment is received, a confirmation packet will be mailed with phone numbers, medical release and information forms with program details.
Please note: Payment is required to hold a spot. We regret that we cannot hold any spots, for any length of time, while waiting for a payment to arrive. Spots fill quickly, so registrations that are mailed, emailed, faxed or voice mailed may not be received in time to secure a spot. To secure a spot, call with a credit card during office hours (9am-5pm weekdays) and speak with our Reservationist (x201), or come to the Museum in person with a check or cash.
Cancellation Policy
If you withdraw from the camp 2 or more business days before the start of the camp, you will receive a full refund. If you withdraw from the camp 1 or fewer business days before the start of the camp, you will receive a refund minus a $15 processing fee.
ACM will continue to offer curb-side pick up as long as the current downtown development will allow, but it cannot be guaranteed.
If minimum enrollments are not met, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule camps. If this occurs, tuition will be refunded. Activities and field trips mentioned are subject to change without notice.
